Objectives

• To attract and engage the stakeholders of the project (members of the textile industry, academics in the field, policymakers) in a continuous, productive, discussion about the sector needs and how they can be further addressed by the project
• To receive the stakeholders’ opinion about the progress of the project in relation to its objectives and the needs/expectations of the sector
• To provide incentives for the involvement of enterprise staff into teaching and research

Description

Stakeholders’ perspective will run in parallel with most of the implementation activities and its main aim is to address the stakeholders of the project (Textile Industry, Academia, Policymakers) in order to provide valuable input for their materialisation as well as means and feedback for the sustainability of the venture. There will be one Committee set up in each country, which will convene at regular intervals until the end of the project. As a result of the works and meetings of the Advisory Committees, 8 joint projects will be organised among the Centres and the industry.
