Seminar-Training Report on Erasmus+ Opportunities

At the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan, a seminar-training on the topic “Opportunities of the Erasmus+ Programme for Higher Education Institutions” was organized at the initiative of the Department of International and Audiovisual Journalism.

The event brought together experts from the National Erasmus+ Office in Uzbekistan, experienced practitioners, and representatives of higher education institutions. They provided valuable information about participation procedures in key Erasmus+ directions such as Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE), International Credit Mobility (ICM), and Jean Monnet projects. The presentation also covered the stages of project writing and strategies for building international cooperation.

During the seminar, participants exchanged experiences on the results of implemented Erasmus+ projects, their impact on the higher education system, and ways to effectively utilize existing opportunities and funding mechanisms.

Special attention was given to the ongoing 'Tex4future' project. Professor Jakhongir Gafurov from Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute delivered a presentation highlighting the key achievements of the project and shared practical insights.

The interactive training, enriched with Q&A sessions, became a platform for students, master’s and PhD candidates, as well as faculty members to gain practical skills and knowledge related to successful participation in international projects and grants within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme.
